On my way to Memphis, I made the usual pass by the UP yard and find this train getting fueled at the east end of the yard. |

Having learned that there was a BNSF unit cross tie train on the D&R, I head for their office in North Dardanelle to talk with friends Tim and Bill Robbins. I then shoot these 2 units at the shop before heading to Bernice and the BNSF power for the tie train. |
On my way to Bernice, I shot the BNSF hopper cars used for hauling the ties. Note the long line of trucks with loads of ties for a future train. |
