This sequence of photos were taken at Kentucky Street in Memphis on 9/16/07 over a two hour span, 4-6pm. At least two train were on the "stage" in all of the scenes.

We start with a UP freight on the "west" NS track at Tower 17 awaiting permision to depart as an empty BNSF coal train is westbound on the "east" NS track of Broadway. Note the yellow signal at CN Jct. for the eastbound BNSF track for a stack train.

The UP general freight finally starts moving about the time that an east bound BNSF freight is approaching as evidenced by the "clear" signal for Track 2 at CN Jct. The BNSF general freight had some flat cars in the right places to see the locomotives of the UP train as it passed.

Next came this CSX double stack transfer headed to the UP intermodal yard in Embony, AR headed by a control slug and a GP40.

Then came an eastbound BNSF general freight on Main 2 meeting a westbound empty unit coal train on Main 1 and another empty unit coal train on "eastbound" NS train waiting to head west.
