| This view of the area east of bridges in the 1920's shows the
original alignment of the lines coming off the Mississippi River
bridges. (MP is to the left, north of the Frisco to the right.)
Further to the south, we see Iowa Avenue (now Crump Blvd.) with the street car
line running down the middle on a private right of way in the middle of the street. |

This close up view of the bridge area in the 1920's shows three
separate yards just east of the bridges. From the left we have the
Municipal Interchange Yard which served as a staging and switching
facility for the Federal Barge Line (intermodal) terminal for
trans-loading barge to rail traffic. The Rock Island passenger coach
yard is in the middle, (note white light poles.) This is where their
passenger cars were pulled from Central Station, staged and serviced
between runs. Further to the right is the Pittsburg Steel Co.
        storage facility. |

| Tracks leading to the Mississippi River bridges around 1970. Note the area where yards once were and the right-of-way of the line to the former Federal Barge Line Terminal. |

| One Frisco track extended north to the wharf area (note the very unusual Frisco System herald on the C&EI boxcar). |
