In this early view of the new "wagon" bridge across the Arkansas River to Oklahoma, you can see the Iron Mountain station across the tracks from the Frisco station. Since only pedestrians are seen on the bridge, it is suspected that this was taken at the opening of the bridge. |

This view of the station was taken in September of 1935. Note the name Missouri Pacific Lines on the right side of the roof. Also note the MP freight house across lower Garrison Ave. and the raised court yard where the photographer was standing that later became the parking lot of the Frisco station. |

This view is of the Iron Mountain "city" passenger and freight office in down town Fort Smith. In the 1907 City Directory, there is an office for freight and passenger agents at 510 Garrison Ave. In the 1930 City Directory, the office has moved 1 block further "uptown" to 610 Garrison. During this time period, the Frisco had a similar office at 512 Garrison. |
