The locomotive is 7 1/2 inch gauge, i.e., 7 1/2 inches nominal between the rails, and is slightly over 6 feet long. The real scale is 1.6 inches to the foot and should have been 1.5 inches to the foot (1/8 scale) except the Briggs & Stratton engine wouldn't fit in a 1.5 inches to the foot loco cab. The locomotive weighs about 475 pounds. |
