This Burlington E-8 is seen in Dallas, TX on June 14, 1965.

By May 1970, the Burlington was no longer using Kansas City Union Station. The Royal American Zephyr is seen loading in the yard in North Kansas City, MO on May 3, 1970 (note the shipment for the competition on an adjacent track).
The train is then seen along the Missouri River bottoms on its way to Chicago.
