This DPU was on a loaded unit coal train in Grand Island, NE on August 15, 2011.

Thsi set of DPUs is at the north end of the yard in Heavener, OK on Oct. 12, 2011.

This freight entered the siding to make a setout at the east end of Rochelle on April7, 2007.
This freight has finished making its setouts and is now heading west again.

Further north on the up side of Rich Mountain at Howard, AR, we caught this loaded BNSF unit coal train with 2 sets of DPUs. We ran into it north of Howard, turned around, and returned to this former passing siding site when passenger trains were still running over the line on Oct. 17, 2011.

While shooting the new hopper, this loaded unit coal train was pulling into the yard in Springfield, MO on March 31, 2007.

An empty BNSF unit coal train sitting on the main at White Siding with the head end just short of Estate Road with the DPU opposite St. Francis Hospital on April 20, 2006.

The last train was this loaded unit coal train entering the yard from the east.

When I arrived downtown, I found a BNSF loaded unit train.

The next train was an empty Western Electrics unit coal train coming out of the yard.

This is the DPU end of a loaded unit coal train parked in the siding at Page, OK.

A loaded unit coal train is seen in Billings, MT passing the former passenger station in Billings on its way to British Columbia on Aug. 26, 2011.

The freight finally shows and takes the siding at Verdigris, OK on April 28, 2012. Note the non-frog leading to the siding in the foreground.

On my way to Memphis, when I got to the OK51/US 59 intersection in Stilwell, I looked north to check on traffic and saw headlights on the KCS.  When I got to where I could see its signal, it was a "high yellow" meaning it would have an "all red" at the south end of the siding.  I headed south on US59 and OK51 to the OK51 east crossing.  I parked in the lot of the Stilwell cattle auction and shot the southbound BNSF loaded unit coal train with a BNSF on the point and 2KCS units (1 gray, 1 Retro Belle) behind it on Oct. 24, 2011.

I spent some time at Cherokee Yard of the BNSF in Tulsa, OK and shot this power near the 23rd Street overpass on March 5, 2013.

This train appeared along side of the highway at Pompeys Pillar, MT on Aug. 24, 2011.

Next in Billings, MT was this westbound grain train on August 25, 2011.
I drove west of Billings and caught this train again.

Then came this eastbound general freight at Urban in Tulsa on April 25, 2013.

I hear the next BNSF loaded unit coal train pulling hard on the grade of the flyover and position myself for some shots at Grand Island, NE on August 15, 2011.

On my way to Ft. Smith, I ran into this northbound empty unit coal train at Stilwell, OK on April 11, 2013.
I then headed to a service station for some gasoline and shot the DPUs from the service center.

I followed the NS line back into Memphis and found a loaded BNSF loaded unit coal train sitting in Forrest Yard on Oct. 25, 2011.

On Sept 18, 2011 I took Business US63 through town at Thayer, MO. As I crossed over the bridge over Warm Creek and the railroad, I discovered a unit coal train with the power making a pickup of power in the siding. I parked and walked out onto the pedestrian walkway on the south side of the bridge.

The next train was an eastbound BNSF stack train.

The next train was a westbound general freight. To the left of the lead unit is the junction with the SKO, former ATSF line. The train is seen passing under I-244 on April 25, 2013.

The next train was a westbound BNSF vehicle train.

I discovered this westbound stack train as I turned off Elgin into the parking lot where I had been earlier, just further east in Tulsa on April 25, 2013.

The intermodal train is then seen heading out the Avard Sub by taking the north leg of the wyein Cherokee Yard in Tolsa on Sept. 12, 2012.

While I waited, this consist of power came out of the engine terminal at Cherokee Yard in West Tulsa on APril 28, 2012.

This BNSF run through train has 4 units. However, from the sound of things, only the"wedge" was working.

BNSF "wedge" #7635 leads a westbound stack train at Rochelle, IL, 7/29/2006.

Another freight then enters the receiving tracks with lots of coil cars..

The power from the first train to the receiving tracks is seen heading to the engine terminal.

This was the first eastbound freight at this new location.

This power was sitting at the lead into the engine terminal so I drove down closer for this shot.

On arrival at the Railroad Park in Rochelle, IL on April 6, 2007, the signals indicated a westbound train on the BNSF.

Upon returning to Prairie du Chien, we discovered another eastbound stack train roaring through town near the former Burlington station on Jan 6, 2007.

My first train was the westbound stack train heading to the Avard Sub on March 5, 2013.

A new BNSF GE #7789 displays the latest paint scheme as it leads a westbound intermodal around the curve west of the diamonds and through the signal bridge for the home signal for those crossings in Rochelle, IL on June 17, 2006.

The first BNSF train was this westbound train. My camera's auto focus went crazy for the coming shot I had hoped for. This train stayed just ahead of the following passenger train. It headed out the Avard Sub. in Tulsa as the following SW Explorer passenger special arrived at Cherokee Yard.

My last train was this eastbound general freight. Not bad, 8 trains in about 4 hours at Urban in Tulsa on April 25, 2013.
