RS-1 #20 is seen in Springdale on May 15, 1990.

The passenger train is seen arriving at the station in Van Buren on May 19, 1991.
The train is then seen at Winslow with the engine running around our train.
Both passenger trains are seen in Winslow.
The train is then seen back in Van Buren. The yound boy is my son Matt.

These views of #22 were taken on my trip to document the railroad for the article in the Nov. 1987 issue of Trains.

This excusion is seen exiting the tunnel at Winslow on Oct. 15, 1988.

This excursion is seen passing the former Frisco station in Fayetteville on Oct. 16, 1988.

Here the train is seen approaching and entering the tunnel at Winslow.
The train is next seen at Chester which once was the base for helpers for the Winslow grade.
The train is then seen coming out of the tunnel at Winslow, AR.

These last three shots were taken at the Fayetteville station from the overpass of Lafayette, Street over the tracks.

This shot was taken just outside of the Winslow tunnel on Oct. 19, 1991.
This shot was taken of the train on trestle #1, 125' tall.
The train next stopped on the bridge over Frog Bayou at the Grotto where I swimmed many a time as a kid.
This shot was taken from the right-of-way of the future I-540 above the valley of Frog Bayou.
This bridge is just south of the location of the former town of Lancaster.
The train is stopped at the approximate location of the former station at Rudy.
Our next stop was under the bluff south of Ball siding.
The former Crawford County Bank was the office of the Fort Smith Gas Company during our years in Van Buren.
The train is then seen on the trestle behind the north side buildings of Main Street in Van Buren. The home with the cupola was owned by Sargent Palmer, relative of the owners of the Palmer House Hotel in Chicago.

These views were taken from the yet to be opened I-540 bridge over the valley south of Mountainburg, AR in June 1993.

I caught the passenger train passing through Fayetteville, AR on May 21, 1994.
The train is heading to the house, this recreated station in Springdale, AR.
