The former MKT Wagoner, OK station is relocated a couple of miles north of the town on US69 and now is a junk store and restaurant. There is a former MKT caboose and a passenger car behind the building.

We then headed to Wagoner. As we passed over the MKT overpass there was a headlight to the south. As we passed over the MP overpass there was a headlight to the south. I think they were the same train, one on the MKT taking the MP north. When we got to the tracks in town, there was a headlight south on the MKT. We parked for the 10 minute wait and while waiting I hear a train on the MP from the south. It turned out to be a unit-large diameter pipe train.

It passes so we start the 10 minutes again. Shortly the MKT train starts to move, again taking the MP north.
We had to make a potty stop out along US69. As we pass over the MP tracks there is a headlight. Jan did not want to wait but we got close to the tracks on OK51 on our way home and saw that it was an empty coal train. Four trains, all taking the MP north, in less than 30 minutes.

The West Center Street overpass still shows the Frisco herald on the east side of the overpass beam.

My plan had been to shoot the A&M passenger passing the former Frisco passenger station. However, the city has created a bike path through town, including the passenger platform of the station and a portion of the O&CC abandoned right-of-way. The bike path is protected by a 6 feet fence. I shot the station and the crossbuck and headed north for my shot.

I finally settle for the spot that in 1988 I shot A&M southbound freights during the 7 month sabbatical that I had at UofA.

I then went to the UofA campus for tours of the underconstruction Nanoscale Material Science and Engineering Building and some Physics research labs. We grabs some lunch and headed for Winslow. We missed the arrival of the Winslow Turn but got the run around move for the engine.

Having picked up its cars, the passenger train heads south past the loading platform and into the cut which leads to the tunnel.

We chased the train to Van Buren. I dropped Jan off at the hotel and headed trackside. I caught the train passing the location where in 1954 I began watching trains up close and personal.

The engine cuts off the train and begins the run-around and turning of the train for its return to Springdale. After turning, the train heads to the station to unload the passengers from the Winslow Turn and load the passengers for Springdale.
Picking up the caboose and set it to the siding.
Coupling the passenger cars to the caboose before setting the train back to the main and backing down to the station.

On my way through Stillwell, OK, I discovered the MOW gang using a truck with coupler moving a long string of gondolas into its work zone toward Marble City, OK.

In Van Buren, I caught an empty coal train stopped at the A&M crossing while a grain train heads into the yard using the passing track.

The A&M transfer power, the C424 and slug, were parked under the US64-71 bridge. A man was working on the mother engine.

A contractor drove up to the pile of used cross ties and began loading them across the tracks at Kentucky Street in Memphis.

I kept an eye on the signals, applying the "10 minute rule". The north BNSF got a green signal so I prepared to shoot the train.

On our way to the Tulsa International Airport, I spotted a headlight at the UP(MKT)crossing in Wagoner, and we headed trackside.
