Central Station Tour

The following photos were taken in the baggage tunnel under the stub tracks of the original station.
At the south end of our tour, there was a "T". The side hall led to a window to Main Street and an alcove which once housed the elevator trackside. This "T" was almost to the REA facility.

An Amtrak wheel chair from the heritage fleet days is also stored in the tunnel.

This is at the building end of the baggage tunnel.

The lower concourse area just outside the main waiting room.

These three views are of the train board showing the front, balcony used by the worker, and the stairs to the back of the board.

This is the Calhoun Street entrance stairway to the main waiting room.

This image is from a framed photo on the wall in the main waiting room which I "skewed" and enhanced the exposure using PhotoShop.
