At the north end of the yard was another set of DPUs.

After the meet, the northbound freight then proceeded. Note that the mainline signal is now lit. The last shot was taken through the windshield as the train reached the signals, sorry for the bug splatter.

I had heard the dispatcher talking to a train at Rcih Mountain, AR. He was sitting in the passing siding, handing over on to the main at the south end waiting for a meet. Unfortunately, the southbound loaded unit coal train was stalled on the main just south of the South Rich Mountain switch.

On my way back to Tahlequah after a week end of A&M, I headed for Siloam Springs, AR. As I approached Siloam, the radio crackled with a message from a detector reporting on a southbound. As I was going up the elevation of the KCS overpass, I spotted a loaded unit coal train with 2 UP units on the point. I headed for Watts. Before I got there I caught up with the DPU, a single UP. The train did not stop at Watts so I gave chase. Shortly I spotted 2 gray KCS units mid-train. I finally got ahead of him and got the following at MP 239.
Mid-train were 2 KCS units in gray acting as additional DPU units.
At the end of the trains was a single UP unit working as another DPU.

I then headed toward Westville, OK where I caught this view at the northern most grade crossing.

Rev. Condren wanted to visit a woman in a nursing home in Stilwell so I drove her there. While she was visiting with the woman, I headed to the KCS depot. After a short period, I heard a southbound on the radio and moved from the south parking lot to the north parking lot of the depot. The train was on the passing track with a short train.

The following KCS units were found in the NS Forrest Yard in Memphis.

I was able to shoot a few locos from outside of the fence.

On my trip back to Memphis, the scanner announced an empending meet at Stillwell, OK. The southbound arrives first. It stops south of the restored station and waits for the northbound movement. The northbound shows up 20 minutes later and "takes the siding". It turns out to be 4 units running light, 2 BNSFs and 2 KCS "retro Belles".
