This was a charter outing by a Milwaukee railroad-slide group of the Whiskey River Railroad, the park-size pike at the Little Amerricka amusement park (run by the Merrick family) at Marshall, Wis., near Madison. Whiskey River Pacific #1919 is seen in the station. The charter was arranged by Denny Hamilton.

At the shop stop the gathering is checking out the roundhouse and turntable. Do they ever use that snow plow?

Melody Ranch was the name of Gene Autry's ranch. Gene was once a Frisco telegrapher.

A couple shots of the first freight runbys.

Views of the runby on "Sherman Hill".
