VBHS 1960 Class Reunion

Photos by Mike Condren

The reunion was in the new high school in the Commons.

I was especially pleased to see and visit with Mr. Patterson who lived across the street from us during my high school days. He was also my Physics teacher whose class helped me make it through 2 semesters of College Physics.

Carlanna Dyer Gill was a neighbor for my early years and a dear friend all the way through high school as well as a class beauty (some things never change).

Rev. James "Mousey" Myers was our Master of Ceremony for the program.

In this photo we see Juanita (Smith) Broaddrick, Margaret (Ray) Bryant, Angie (Evans) Benham, and Beverly (Berry) Carter.

David Smith was our after dinner speaker, and he did a great job.

Faye (Williams) Weeks was a good friend through church and school.

James Myers, Lewis Belcher, and Dana (Selby) Mitchell are seen during the passing out of door prizes.

Peggy Sue (Jones) Sullivan was a good friend and fellow member of the percussion section during concert season for the band. She surprised me one day when she was a student at The College of the Ozarks by sitting in the back of the room for my Fortran class.

Johnie Ruth (Garrett) Hammontree was a good friend back in those wonderful high school days.

I had lots of fun with Dolores (Sharp) Cox on our many band trips.
