An eastbound freight is seen at Kansas Ave on May 19, 1996.

This empty unit coal train is seen at Old Union Station in Kansaas City, MO on June 20, 1979.
The train is then seen at Parkville, MO.

No 2 engines in this consist are from the same railroad as it is seen approaching Kansas Ave in Memphis.

It was a very dark day in Memphis when I saw this train but the reflections on the rails made for an interesting photo.

This view is in Kansas City, MO on August 8, 1988, 8/8/88.

A southbound freight is seen entering the yard at Harvard, AR in March 1996.

A westbound freight is seen passing Kansas Ave on April 4, 1999.

This freight is seen in Memphis on June 24, 1982.

As it approaches Kentucky St westbound, this freight is seen in Sept. 1986.

These units are at the west end of West Yard in Springfield, MO on August 13, 1996.

This freight is eastbound as it approaches Kansas Ave in May 1987.

This eastbound freight is seen approaching the Rock Island crossing at Union Station at Joliet, IL on March 27, 1999.

This southbound freight is on a detour as we see it on the UP tracks in Memphis on June 21, 1997.

These units are on the bypass track over the hump of Tennesssee Yard in Memphis in Jan 1990.

This freight is seen on the 1892 Frisco bridge across the Mississippi River on Oct. 30, 1982.

This freight is seen in Memphis on Oct 11, 1989.

This SD40-2 is seen in the engine terminal of Cherokee Yard in Tulsa, OK on August 20, 1982.

This northbound freight has just pulled up to the 4-Way stop at the crossing of the IC passenger main and then is seen crossing the IC in Sept. 1986. The tall building in the second photo is Central Station, the upper floors once housed IC offices.

This SD40-2 is seen in the engine terminal of Cherokee Yard in Tulsa, OK on June 12, 1981.

This eastbound freight is seen approaching Kentucky St on August 2, 1992.

This westbound freight is seen from Kentucky St as it progresses through the plant in June 1992. This is the Memphis "Hot Spot".
