D&H #410 was disassembled for spare parts as pictured here.

The former D&H #410 is seen on March 9, 1988 derelict in the area outside of the area where the new engine house is built.

D&H #411 is seen on May 27, 1987 in Springdale, AR.

The Ft Smith Turn is seen passing through West Fork on Oct. 12, 1987.

Former D&H 412 is seen in the yard at Springdale on May 27, 1987.

Former D&H 413 is seen in Springdale on May 27, 1987. It will be rebuilt into A&M 60 and named after the D&H CMO Chris McDermot.

Dormer D&H 416 is seen heading the Ft Smith Turn on July 18, 1988 passing the station in Fayetteville.

This consist is seen at Fayette Jct on September 26, 1988.

The Ft Smith Turn is seen returning to Springdale on Oct. 13, 1988.

The power that I would ride on the Monett turn is seen sitting in the engine terminal in Springdale on Dec. 28, 1988. The dusting of snow is nothing compared to the snow we would find in Monett that night.

Former L&N Family Lines C420 #1324 is seen in Springdale on March 9, 1988 awaiting servicing.

This former L&N C420 is being stripped of useable parts on March 13, 1988.

This former Family Lines C420 is seen being prepared for sandblasting on May 27, 1987.
The photo at right shows the nose of this C420 with the headlight removed and the area prepared for mounting the bracket for the bell. In the photo below, that bracket is in place and the unit awaits being moved to the area where it will be sandblasted in preparation for painting.

This former L&N C420 is seen leading the Ft Smith Turn into North Yard in Ft Smith on December 29, 1986 with another C420, 2 GP40s and a T-6.

The Ft Smith Turn is seen the next day, a sunny December 30, 1986, as the train enters North Yard in Ft Smith.

C420 #1366 is next seen in the engine terminal in Springdale on May 27, 1987.

I never saw the following Burlington Northern units in service on the A&M.
BN 4240 and 4260 are seen in Springdale in the dead line north of Huntsville Road on Sept. 7, 1988.

This former Mississippi Export engine is being used as a parts supply in this photo taken on June 10, 1997.
